UPCOMING PRODUCTS FOR REVIEW & SOME NEWS

I'm getting back into the swing of blogging again and I have a ton of swatching I plan on doing this weekend. As I showed you yesterday I will be sharing my swatches of the Diamond Cosmetics Holiday Collection. I also have an email into my rep with DC as to when the collection is set to be released.

I also have three Lippmann polishes for review too. I am so excited about these. The rep with Lippmann asked what I would like to review and I said anything bright or glittery. I was super pleased when the box came and I had three of the polishes that I wanted! So I will be doing a review complete with swatches on these three:

I also have some special lotion that is supposed to be really good for eczema that I will be review in the next coming weeks. I want to give it little while to see the results. But I'm really interested to see if it does what it claims.

I also have a ton of untried nail polish I am hoping to get swatched and posted soon, including the new collection from Essie.

Now for some non nail related news. My Verenika dish the other night was a bust. The recipe for the dough was crap! I was so disappointed because it is a pretty time consuming dish to make. However, I will be making a second attempt this weekend (since I have a ton of the dumpling filling left!).

Also, myself and two other bloggers have something special in the works that I can't wait to share with you all, but until all the details are worked out I can't share just yet. But I think you all will like it. Hopefully we will be able to break the news soon :)

DIAMOND COSMETICS HOLIDAY COLLECTION

SQUEEEEE!!!
I just got these today in the mail, and I am super excited about showing these to you all! I won't be able to swatch these until this weekend, but I wanted to share the bottle pics for you all. Take a look at these:

Diamond Cosmetics is killing it ladies!!! You really need to click on the bottle pic and look at all of them, seriously!! Can't wait........

THANK YOU INBAL!!

Hey........a night time blog!! Been awhile since I did one of these.

I wanted to let you all see the wonderful present I got from Inbal of 20 Drops of Color. Awhile ago I showed you all some cute baby shoes I found on Etsy and said how I wished they came in my size. That same day I got an email from Inbal saying that she could make me the shoes. I was so surprised and shocked and touched that someone I don't know and from parts of the Earth I have never laid eyes on would take the time to knit me some shoes!

Inbal, you did a wonderful job! I am wearing them right now as I type and they are perfection! You really did an excellent job, I'm impressed with your wonderful skills. Then, as if they socks weren't enough, she sent yummy candy and nail polish!

I have a "thank you" package headed your way, but it comes no where close to hand knit booties! :) Thanks a million times over!!!

I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU ALL

It's just been one of those weeks so far when blogging has just not been at the top of my list. I hope to be back on track next week.

I finally got Internet hooked back up at my house so I might throw in a few night time posts for you all here and there.

I got a lovely package all the way from Israel that I will be sharing with you all either today or tomorrow from a truly sweet woman who made me some skull and cross bone socks. The package came from Inbal of 20 Drops of Color.

I did bake some bread the other night that tasted pretty good, only it had the consistency of biscuits instead of traditional bread for some reason. I think I should have kneaded the dough more, anyway, they were pretty tasty :)

For dinner tonight I am making Veranika, a German Mennonite dish that has ham, onions, heavy cream, fried dumplings - - - it's to die for, if you like that sort of thing. . .

I'm thinking of starting another blog that I will post about stuff that I cook, but I'm still not quite sure that I am ready to juggle two blogs. Since I enjoy cooking as much as doing nails I have kind of intermingled the two here but think a separate blog would be better for just food stuff. What do you all think?

OMG!! DEAR SANTA . . .

DEAR SANTA,

All I want for christmas is a Spa Factory Custom Nail Studio!

Pour different colored dyes into the bottles, and then mix them using the color wheel.

Walmart has this on sale right now for $30 bucks!! I promise I will be good all year and never ask for anything ever again if I can just get this one thing!!

NEW BLOGS ON THE BLOCK

I know I'm a day late on this - sorry! I had a very busy weekend of cleaning. I cleaned everyday this past weekend. I rearranged not only who I had my kitchen set up but also rearranged my son's room too. I went the "catch all" closet and threw tons of stuff away, removed clothes for goodwill - I'm telling you when I cleaned I CLEANED!! LOL When I get in those moods it's best to just go with the flow and get it done, so I did. I had no time at all for nail stuff and I am actually still wearing my last mani I showed you, the cute french with the horrible bow, and it is actually holding up pretty well.

On to the new blogs. I have several for you all today:

CHARMY NAIL

LE PETIT BLOG DE BRUNO

NAIL GOODIES

LEMMING MONSTER

NOT MY FINEST MOMENT

I like the idea behind this mani, I just can't stand my execution of it. And I am appalled at that stupid bow on my middle finger, lol!! I am going to try and recreate this mani again, this time taking a little bit more patience and time to complete it. There isn't anything majorly wrong with it, but I can see my mistakes and they stick out like a sore thumb to me. Also the bow is one of those things that I just kept adding to in hopes of me liking it better and instead it gets a FAIL.

OH well, it will soon be washed away thanks to acetone and I will have a blank slate to work with. Ahhhh, the joys of painting ones nails.

This weekend I am going to try and do several different french mani variations, since I got that Nailene stuff I kind of have the "french mani" bug.
